Compalgo
An algorithm that estimates how compatible two people are as romantic partners.
Compalgo answers a simple question: how well do two people fit together? You enter two individuals, and the algorithm returns an assessment of their romantic compatibility.
Why it matters
Choosing a life partner is one of the most consequential decisions anyone makes. Most dating tools are built to help people meet. Compalgo looks at what comes after meeting: whether two people are likely to suit each other over the long term.
Where it stands
The first version of the algorithm works and is live on compalgo.com, alongside a page on the science behind it. The next step is more research, to refine the model and test it against real relationships.
A family of compatibility algorithms
Compalgo is one of three related algorithms, each covering one of life’s big choices:

They share an approach, so research and development on one strengthens the others.
What would help
